The purpose of the International Journal of Social Work Research (JSWR) is; To contribute to the production of scientific knowledge and to ensure its use in applications by advancing the theoretical understanding of research that covers all humanitarian services such as social work, social policy and social welfare. In this context, the magazine; It aims to include research, case reports, reviews, translated articles or book reviews.

JSWR; It is published twice a year, in March and September. Publication language of the articles is Turkish and / or English.

JSWR; It includes studies that provide information about all the problems and problems covered by social work and social policy science. The main criterion is that research is conducted on the social work profession. The topics covered by the journal are: Social policy, family, children, women, youth, immigrants, poverty, unemployment, disability, old age, social welfare, social policy, substance addiction, sexual abuse, human rights, etc.

The International Journal of Social Work Researches (JSWR) has been regularly published twice a year, in March and September, since 2021. The main purpose of the journal is to contribute to the publication of qualified academic studies in the fields of social work and social policy.
Articles published in the journal cannot be published elsewhere or presented as a paper without the permission of the journal. Partially or fully published articles cannot be used anywhere without showing the source. The contents of the articles submitted to the journal must be original, not previously published anywhere or sent anywhere for publication.

International Journal of Social Work Researches (JSWR) is published electronically in Turkish and English languages ​​and does not accept article processing fee or article submission fee. Works are only accepted online. In order for the authors to submit an article, they must register to the jswr article evaluation system (http: // http://jswr.ejournal.gen.tr/) and open an account. The said system allows for online submission and evaluation. It is essential that the works accepted to the journal are original and not previously published in other media. The abbreviation of International Journal of Social Work Researches is JSWR.
Scientific and ethical responsibilities of the articles belong to the authors, and the copyright belongs to the International Journal of Social Work Researches. Authors are responsible for the content of the works and whether the sources are correct. Authors must send the confirmation (Copyright Transfer Form) that they have transferred their publishing rights together with their works. When this document is signed by all authors and sent to the journal, the authors guarantee that the submitted work has not been published in another journal and / or is not under review for publication, and declare their scientific contributions and responsibilities.
All works submitted to the journal for publication are scanned by the authors with the "İthenticate, Turnitin" program and passed through plagiarism control. Manuscripts can be rejected or returned according to the results of the plagiarism screening.
The International Journal of Social Work Researches has adopted the principle of providing the highest level of international ethical standards (COPE). All kinds of research based on qualitative or quantitative methods that require data collection using surveys, interviews, focus group studies, interview techniques, in all observational researches on humans and animals submitted for publication in the International Journal of Social Work Researches, retrospective archive scanning using image records Ethics committee approval is mandatory for experimental and clinical studies. Ethics committee approval and "informed consent form" should be stated in the "Method" section of the study. In addition, it should be stated that permission is obtained from the authors for the use of surveys, scales, photographs belonging to others, and copyright regulations are complied with for the ideas and works of art used. If the work contains a direct or indirect commercial link or if there is an organization providing material support for the work, the author / authors should indicate this to the editor on the presentation page. Individuals and organizations that support research should be declared. If there are situations where there is a conflict of interest, the Conflicts of Interest Notification Form should be filled in to explain the situations in question.
All manuscripts are reviewed by the editor, assistant editors and at least 2 referees.
The International Journal of Social Work Researces is an independent, prejudiced periodical publication that publishes within the framework of double-blind refereeing principles. Referees are selected from among independent scientists who have publications and citations in the international literature on the subject of the article. When the article reaches the editor-in-chief and assistant editor, it is evaluated and sent to the referees. The assistant editor adds his / her own evaluation and suggestion to the referee decisions and sends it to the editor in chief. If the referees' decisions regarding the publication of the work conflict, the editor of the journal may appoint a new referee. The final decision is made by the journal editor and editorial board. The editor-in-chief may return works that are not suitable for publication to their authors before submitting them to referee evaluation. If it is determined that ethical principles are not complied with at any stage of the evaluation of the work, the evaluation process of the works is stopped immediately, regardless of the stage, and the work is returned to the author (s) together with the reasons.
Authors who have transferred the copyrights of their articles to the journal reserve the right to use their published works in their other works in whole or in part without making any revisions or changes and to convert them into books if they see fit. If the article is to be reused by the author as a book chapter in a collection or compilation or to be turned into a book for commercial purposes, permission must be obtained from the Journal, which reserves the right to appoint or waive it. The cost for this reuse and an appropriate attribution to the original publication in the journal should be made clear.
